There is no earthly reason you should give me money or buy me anything on my wish list. Still, in this strange barter economy of links, hat tips, bandwidth, and swag that coheres our community in the blogosphere, doing so has become a way of offering support or appreciation, and who am I to say no? With no expectation and no encouragement, but no false humility, I report that I am willing to receive what you are willing to give. Please believe that: I don’t expect, still less feel an entitlement to, anyone’s generosity; I am keenly aware of the compliment that is done in making any such contribution; I am happy to have all visitors and commenters, contributions or no entirely to the side; and I would be most sincerely appreciative of any contribution that is made. I suppose I don’t mind mentioning, as well, that it does cost at least a little money to keep a blog online, and that’s something I have in no superfluous supply. So, do as you will, thanks for visiting in any case, and for those so inclined, below are ways you can transfer largesse of one manner or another, the which I can assure you will be gratefully received and productively employed.
Thanks very much.
