You ever wonder if these things are ellaborate jokes? There was a Linux distribution that differed from RedHat only in that various “obscene” words had been removed from the spell-checker’s dictionary, and many standard Linux terms like “kill” and “daemon” had been renamed to less “evil” things.
Yes - I remember that one. Makes you question their grip on reality.
And there have been times when I wondered if certain far-right Web sites were really parodies. (By the same token, many people have been taken in by the Landover Baptist Web page, which is a parody but, by fundie standards, still plausible.) There’s a certain lack of self-awareness within some of these groups.
