Test Post

This is a test to display formatting options such as italicized text, bold-faced text, and other options. I am particularly concerned about certain emphasis options, which may not be turning out as well as hoped. It is important to make the different forms of emphasis as distinct as possible, both from each other and from the normal font, to be sure the emphasis is noticed when it is used - otherwise, of course, there’s no point to using it at all. The bold-faced text in particular does not look very different from the normal text, which is a serious problem, especially with a dark text type and a serif font. In addition to bolding, there is the question of hyperlinks, such as the one just previously, which links to Lean Left, but which may not be visible after my having used totally the wrong formatting for them. It is necessary that these also be distinct, and that the various modes of link - unchosen, previously-visted, and so on - be distinguishable as well.

Do not click this link. It is to demonstrate an un-chosen link.
